Memphisâ„¢ Cyrillic Bold Italic

The Memphis font family is one of the earliest twentieth century revivals of the Egyptian, slab serif style. Designed by Rudolf Weiss for the Stempel Type Foundry. The shapes are geometric, vertical and horizontal strokes are of similar weight. Memphis is popular in advertising where it can be used at display sizes and for small quantities of text. Memphisâ„¢ is a trademark of Linotype Corp. registered in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and may be registered in certain other jurisdictions in the name of Linotype Corp. or its licensee Linotype GmbH.
